Acapulco Bar & Grill is a fan favorite Mexican restaurant in Corpus Christi, Texas, known for its vibrant flavors, warm hospitality, and family-friendly atmosphere. With three convenient locations across the city, they have become a go-to spot for authentic Mexican cuisine and delicious Tex-Mex favorites. Their newest location takes things a step further with a full-service bar, featuring handcrafted cocktails, premium tequila, and an expanded drink menu – perfect for happy hour, weekend outing, or a casual night out.
THE Challenge
The new location required a complete A/V infrastructure from the ground up. They wanted to create an engaging and functional environment with modern technology solutions across multiple restaurant areas. They needed an A/V vendor who could handle the full scope of design, installation and long-term maintenance.
OUR Solution
To meet Acapulco’s vision for a modern, media-rich bar and grill experience – including multi-screen entertainment, balanced music coverage and a reliable drive-thru system, MOOD consultants implemented quality and cohesive solutions throughout the restaurant. To provide consistent and controllable audio throughout, MOOD installed a Harmony Music Receiver for centralized and customizable music programming. Klipsch in-ceiling and surface mount speakers also help to deliver crisp sounds to all zones – including bar, patio, restrooms and exterior. For visual entertainment, Samsung 55” and 65” crystal clear UHD TVs were strategically installed across the bar and dining areas with SmartMount Tilt Wall Mounts to ensure optimal viewing angles. Managing content is made simple with Harmony Digital Signage for in-dining promotions, along with Harmony devices that power the outdoor digital menu and preview boards, allowing for easy updates from a central platform. Acapulco also aimed for an efficient drive-thru experience for their customers, so MOOD implemented a state-of-the-art drive-thru system to maximize speed and accuracy that provides real-time metrics.
