ABOUT Jack Allen’s Kitchen

Jack Allen’s Kitchen in Cedar Park, Texas is the seventh restaurant in the JAK franchise. Jack Allen’s brings southern-inspired flavors infused with Southwestern cuisine and is known for sourcing their ingredients locally. They are dedicated to working with local farmers and purveyors for only the best ingredients.

THE AV Restaurant Challenge

The challenge—help the newest location for Jack Allen’s Kitchen elevate their ambiance and create better dining acoustics with a custom audiovisual solution. Having previously worked with the Jack Allen team at their other six locations, we were charged with designing an audiovisual solution that includes custom music programming for restaurants and state-of-the-art sound system. Our solution helped incorporate a custom music solution featuring a southern influenced music track with blues, Americana and local Austin area music.

OUR Audio System Solution

Mood system engineers designed a custom sound audio solution to provide top-quality background music throughout every inch of their dining and waiting areas. We began with 8’’ woofers and horn loaded tweeters on Klipsch professional speakers, powered by QSC amplifiers and Symetrix DSP with mobile control. This allows managers to use their own devices to adjust volume in individual areas. We also installed back-to-back ceiling mounted TVs to fit the unique design of the bar and maximize viewing from any seat. To control all TVs from one interface, Mood custom programmed a touch screen remote, along with a mobile app, that also has audio control for the entire restaurant. In addition, our Mood Music Designers worked collaboratively with Jack Allen’s team to create custom programmed and professionally managed mixes that automatically change based on time of day and season.
