Renovations, PIPs & New Properties
Most hotels don’t shop for AV. They get a PIP or a franchise inspection or a construction schedule. Mood Texas work on all three timelines. On a property improvement plan, we scope AV against brand standards and document what the inspector needs. On a renovation, we phase work around occupancy so you’re not shutting down floors. On a new build or conversion, we coordinate with your GC and low-voltage contractor from drawings forward, so the conduit is in the wall before the drywall goes up.

How much does a hotel sound system cost?
It depends almost entirely on zone count and square footage. A focused lobby and restaurant system typically starts in the low five figures. A full-property multi-zone system covering lobby, F&B, pool, corridors and event space runs considerably higher. We scope from your floor plan and give you a fixed number before anything is ordered.
Can you install without closing the hotel?
Yes. Most of our hotel work happens in occupied properties. We phase by floor or zone, schedule loud work outside quiet hours, and coordinate with your director of engineering on access and staging.
Do you handle AV requirements in a PIP?
We do. Send us the PIP and we’ll identify which line items are AV, scope them against the brand standard, and give you documentation your inspector will accept.
Can you work with our existing system?
Often, yes. Speakers, conduit and displays frequently have life left even when the head end doesn’t. We assess what’s there before recommending a rip-and-replace.
Do you provide support after installation?
Yes. We’re based in Texas with technicians in San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and El Paso. Service and content management are handled locally, not through a national call center.
